Faye Jones
Faye Jones, age 75, a longtime Waco resident, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2003, at a local nursing facility.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, at the OakCrest Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Rev. Bill Schibler officiating.
Burial will be in King-Smith Cemetery in Mound, Texas.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. A memorial video of her life will be shown continuously during the visitation.
Born November 17, 1927 in Texarkana, Faye was the daughter of William H. and Ona (Brunson) Smith. She was a member of Golinda Baptist Church, and was a housewife.
She enjoyed reading, fishing, and crocheting for her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Jones.
She is survived by sons, Roger Jones and wife Linda of Myrtle Springs, Douglas Jones and wife Esther of Cego, Loyd Jones and wife Molly of Chilton, Billy Jones of Moody, and Charles Jones and wife Joleen of Whitney; daughters, Elizabeth Dawson and Mary Quinones, both of Waco; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
