Floyd Hubert Clark, 80, of Prairie Hill, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Community Center in Lone Camp, Texas with Dr. Pete Bradfield officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Lone Camp. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Mr. Clark was born March 11, 1929 in Lone Camp to Thomas Floyd Clark and Elsie Whitley Clark. He married Betty Marsden on April 7, 1950 in Lone Camp. Mr. Clark was employed by Goodyear Service for over 40 years. He worked there when in 1989, the Goodyear Service Center was acquired by Kendrick Tire Company at which time, he was named store manager of the Mexia location. He retired in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Michael Clark and wife, Susie of Lorena; daughters, Gwen Harris and husband, H. C. of Axtell and Vicky Harris and husband, Walter of Lorena; grandchildren, Michele Daub and husband, John of Austin, Steve Harris and wife, Zsaine of Lorena, Jennifer Aiello and husband, Jacob of Hewitt, Jessica Clark of Lorena, Wesley Hillin and wife, Christi of China Spring and Sallie Gordon and husband, Robert of Liberty Hill; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ron Harris, Steve Harris, Wesley Hillin, John Daub, Robert Gordon, Michael Harris, Jacob Aiello and John Brigham.
