Olivia Cosby, 79, of Waco, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011.

SERVICES
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 1, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Terry Cosby and Greg Smith, her nephews, officiating. Committal will follow at Waco Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, June 30 , at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

HER LIFE STORY
Olivia was born January 13, 1932 in Center, Texas. The rock of the family was her mother, Pearlie Rogers Smith. In 1946, Olivia met Eugene Cosby as he returned home from World War II, and they were married June 12, 1946. They lived in Houston until 1994 when they moved to Waco to be near their family.

Olivia was devoted to her family, serving as Room Mother, Den Mother, scorekeeper, and Number 1 fan to her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Eugene, who died in 2008.

HER FAMILY
Olivia is survived by her children, Ken Cosby and wife, Leslie, of Houston, Michael Cosby and his wife, Luz (Ging), of Waco, and Daphene Atkins and husband, Curtis of Thorndale; grandchildren, Luke Anthony Cosby, Joseph Michael Cosby, Bradley James Cosby, Jillian Rene Atkins, Olivia Joan Atkins, and Levi Quin Atkins; and siblings, Wanda Waits, George Smith and wife, Jan, and Bobbie Jo Fellers, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
