Frances Aline Harrell, 71, of Waco, passed away Friday, February 20, 2009 at her residence.

Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating.

Private burial will be later at Rosemound Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. A memorial video honoring her life will be shown during the visitation and at the service.

Frances was born September 28, 1937 in West to Joe and Rosalie Lichnovsky. She later moved to Waco.

After marrying Charles Elmore in 1957 they settled in Carrollton. After his death in 1964 she moved back to Waco, with her three young daughters.

She married Charles Harrell in 1971 and had her son. She was an avid pool player, winning several tournaments. She retired in 2000 from Fabknit. She was "Mom" to everyone and made friends everywhere she went, but her family was her universe as she is ours. She is our hero, wise and funny and the strongest woman ever. We adore you Mom.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Helen; husbands, Charles Elmore and Charles Harrell; and grandson, Rhyan Johnson.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori Marley and husband, Race of Waco, Nancy Rouse and husband, Terry of Waco, and Beth Elmore of Waco; son, Charles Harrell Jr. and wife, Amity of Leander; stepchildren, Shelley Harrell of Dallas and Donald Harrell of Dallas; grandchildren, Chris Elmore, Craig Baggerly, Taylor Diamond, Brienna Rouse, all of Waco, Chelsey Marley of Austin, Madeline and MacKenzie Harrell of Leander; brother, Joe Lichnovsky and wife Eunice, of Waco; sister, Martha Gayle Vahrenkamp and husband, Darryl of Waco and Rosalie Tennyson and husband, Frank of San Antonio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
