Frances Mendoza

Frances Mendoza, 83 of Crawford, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 am Friday at the Crawford Cemetery with Deacon Jessie Garza officiating. Visitation will start at 6 pm Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque, followed by the rosary at 7 pm.

Frances was born on December 27, 1921 in Beltran to Felix and Lupe (Liscano) Flores.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Mendoza, in 1980, and by her son, Tano Flores.

She is survived by her grandson, Frank Mendoza of Waco; granddaughter, Lupe Garza and husband, Robert of Waco; nine great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe L. Flores and wife, Sally and Rudy L. Flores and wife, Shirley all of Waco; sisters, Margaret Rogers and husband, Tony of McGregor and Beatrice Alonzo and husband, Tilo of Roulette; aunt, Valenitina Dominguez and husband, Julian of China Spring; uncle, Pete Flores of McGregor; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and beloved dog, Fuzzy.
