Frances Tippie, 85, died Saturday in Sidney. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Shields officiating.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Sunday at Comanche Funeral Home. OakCrest Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
She was born November 23, 1918, in Wills Point, to William and Delia (Woods) Matthews. She worked at the Waco VA for 25 years as a cook. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waco. She was married to John J. Tippie in 1941 in Waco.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam Pyburn; sons, James and William Tippie; sister, Mauldine Miller; brother, Paul Matthews; and ten grandchildren.
