Francisco Turrubiartes Maldonado, 70, of Waco, Texas passed away on December 31, 2020. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Very Rev. C. Benjamin Magnaye, as Celebrant, burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, January 5, with Rosary service at 7 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Francisco was born on February 2, 1950 in Col. Alvaro Obregon, Cd. Del Maiz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Francisco Turrubiartes Lopez and Honoria Maldonado Lopez. Francisco was a good son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a wonderful friend to all he met. Pancho, as he was known, worked for Barnett Contracting, and when he had time, he would go fishing. He also enjoyed watching baseball, MMA, boxing, and spending hours in the pasture with cattle. But above all he loved spending time with his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Joaquin.

Francisco is survived by his wife, Olivia, of 47 years; children, Joyce and Joe De La Cruz, Richard and Rene Almanza, Patricia and Angela Almanza, Peter and Melissa Almanza, Jennifer Almanza and Jose Fajardo, Frank Turrubiartez and Melissa Turrubiartez; 28 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, German and Isabel Turrubiartes, Hilario and Maria Turrubiartes, Elena and Heriberto Olivera, Esperanza Turrubiartes, Consuelo Turrubiartes and Hijenio Rodriguez, Ricardo and Olivia Turrubiartes, and Marco A. and Rosa Turrubiartes.

Pallbearers are Frank Turrubiartez, Peter Almanza, Richard Almanza, Spencer Jones, Carlos Turrubiartes, Richard Turrubiartes, German Turrubiartes, and Ramiro Turrubiartes.

Honorary Pallbearers are Francisco’s brothers, grandsons, and nephews.
