Frank Barrientez, Jr., 59, of Waco passed away in his home on August 16, 2007. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 17, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Elder Carlos Rosas officiating. A memorial video honoring his life will be shown during the service.
He was born in Waco on October 3, 1948, and graduated from Waco High School in 1968. He then served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.
He loved his family, and will be dearly missed. He had a special way of touching people's lives.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Ricarda Barrientez; brother, Johnny Barrientez; a great- nephew Henry Rodriguez and a nephew Richard Ayala.
Frank is survived by his sisters: Susie Salinas and husband Paul, Helen Sanchez and husband Joe, Josie O'Malley and husband Charles, all of Waco; Mona Stancell of Ft. Worth, and Trini Mendoza and Inez Arnold of Florida. Brothers: Jimmy Barrientez of Dallas, Tony and Albert Barrientez of Waco. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
