Freeman Dale Glenn 64 of Aquilla passed away Friday November 9, 2012 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be held Tuesday November 20 at 11:30 am in Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday November 19 from 6 – 8 at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Freeman was born October 25, 1948 in Waco to Freeman Lynn and Katherine Abney Glenn. He served in Vietnam as a member of the U.S. Marines. He later worked for Tyler Pipe in Tyler for 21 years and later for Mrs. Bairds for 14 years. He retired in 2011.
Freeman was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents: Earnest and Hazel Williams, Floyd and Ollie Glenn, mother-in-law Kathleen Weaver and step-mother Irene Glenn.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bobbie Glenn of Aquill; daughter, Tammy Hobbs and husband, Stephen of Aquilla; son, Robert Glenn and wife, Gina Garcia of Jamul, Ca.;granddaughters, Maggie Glenn and Zoe Glenn;Uncle, Bobbie William; Aunt, Janice Williams of Robinson; and loyal dog and friend, Chewy Louie.
