Gary Page August 25, 1948 – April 5, 2024

Gary Page, 75, of Waco, Texas, passed away April 5, 2024, surrounded by love and family. There will be a visitation from 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Oakcrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco. A Graveside Service will be at 11 am, on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Bosqueville Cemetery.


Gary was born August 25, 1948 in Conneaut, Ohio to Lloyd and Lucile Page. He graduated from high school in San Antonio, Texas and entered into service in the United States Air Force. He served as a Communication Specialist on active duty from June 1967 to January 1971 when he was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He continued to serve in the reserves until June 1973.


Gary and Ginger were married June 22, 1968, and happily married for 38 years until her death April 1,2006. They raised two sons, W.D. “Pat” and Curtis Page. Gary was remarried November 24, 2007, to Betty and they lived a quiet, happy life with their pets until his death. Gary was also a dedicated educator and taught Computer Science at TSTC in Waco from 1984 to 2012, when he retired and then returned to TSTC to teach again until 2021.


Gary was a dedicated husband, father, brother, and Grampy. He loved his family, his Lord, golf, good friends, and good joke. There would always be laughs and fun when Gary was involved! His smile and laugh will be greatly missed.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Lucile Page; beloved wife, Ginger Page; and one sister, Dorothy Thornton of North Carolina.


Survivors include his beloved wife, Betty Page; siblings, Janet Ball of Kingsville, Ohio and Richard Page of Valley Station, Kentucky; son, Pat and his wife, Rhonda Page of Alabama; son, Curtis Page and wife, Nicole of Fort Worth; stepdaughter, Dr. Manon Shockey and her fiancé, Doug Gaston of Stephenville; and grandchildren, Emily and her husband, Dr. Ben Phillips of Waco, Ryan Page of Alabama, Colbie Page of Fort Worth, Curtis Page, II. of Alaska, and step granddaughter, Alyssa Salas of Stephenville.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
