Gary Willie

Gary Loyd Willie, 51, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Riesel Cemetery by Chaplain Curtis Holland. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Gary was born in Mart to Herman Willie and Mary Willie. He worked at D&E Builders Supply for 21 years, and he loved to fish. He married Karla Mashburn on July 18, 1992 in Waco.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Rusty Mashburn, and a nephew, Robert Duane Mashburn.
He leaves his wife, Karla; daughter, Stephanie; brothers, Harry Henderson and wife Rhonda of Carrollton, and Charles Willie of Gholson; sisters, Vanada Mark and husband Darrin of Robinson, and Linda Booth of Waco; father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Dorothy Mashburn; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Brenda Mashburn; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Stephanie Willie Scholarship Fund at First National Bank of Central Texas, 1835 N. Valley Mills, Waco 76710 will be appreciated.
