Reverend Kenneth Gayland Wiley passed away on March 8, 2008 at Providence Health Center in Waco. Cremation was arranged by OakCrest Funeral Home and a private family service will be held at a later date.

Gayland was born in Groesbeck to Ray and Bonnie (Robertson) Wiley on December 24, 1937. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged, earning numerous medals in 1968. Gayland had been a minister for the Spiritual Science Mother Church since 1975.

He was a beloved son, husband, father, nephew and friend. He loved to fish. He was a true teacher and advocate of World Peace.

He is survived by his:

Wife, Rebecca Lynn Wiley;

Daughter, Chrystal Anderson and fiance, John Cantrell;

Step-son, Adam Anderson; four additional daughters; several aunts and uncles;

Close friend, Timothy Tate;

and so many other friends that he loved so truly.
