Gerald Winkler

Father, Husband, Brother, and Son, Provider of sustenance, protection, and fun. Grandpa, Great Grandpa, and darn good uncle too. So much to nurture, to love, and make do. A man for all seasons, they fit like a glove. A million good reasons for unconditional love. Rest well with the Angels, you’ve earned your own wings. We love you and miss you and we’ll always cherish the memories you helped to create. Now it’s time for taps, Mr. “Coastie” (Coast Guard).

Daddy is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Janette Winkler, mother of Freddy Winkler, and Wendy Shepard, and husband John. Also, preceded by Denice Gill and Gerald George Winkler, Jr., children of Dorothy R. Higgins, his first wife, and his granddaughter, Jessica Marie Hernandez, daughter of Michelle and Charlie Hernandez. He has three remaining daughters, Patrice Huck and husband Robert, Michelle Hernandez and husband Charlie, and Gerelle Kerwin and husband Timothy. He leaves 17 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are: Freddy Winkler, Jason Leather, David Stech, Jacob Hernandez, Zach Gill, Quentin Shepherd, Jarrett Shepherd, Stephen Graves, and Damien Stech.
