Geronimo Gamez Jr. 58, passed away Tuesday October 14, 2014 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Santa Cruz Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Burleson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 17 from 6 pm–7 pm at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Dr., Woodway, TX 76712.

Geronimo was born February 25, 1956 in Waco, Texas to Geronimo Gamez Sr. and Josephine Chavez. On Nov. 21, 1975 in Waco, he married Sarah Arocha. He was a self-employed contract laborer and a 2nd degree black belt in karate. He was a member of the Highpoint Church. Geronimo was a devoted follower of Christ and loved to share his faith in the Lord. He was the type of person, who never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Geronimo is survived by his wife, Sarah of Waco; two sons, Jonathan Gamez of Waco and Zachary Gamez of Dallas; two sisters; Margie Hubbard of Longview and Alicia Gamez of Waco; one brother, Charles Gamez and wife, Scheryl of Gilmer; and many nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Arocha, Allen Hubbard, Christian Torres-Nation, Paul David Garcia Jr., Paris Walker Jr., and Carlos Paul Arocha.
