Glenda Kay Holder, 58, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Services will be 11 am Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Pastor Stuart Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Glenda was born in Mexia to Virgil Glenn Sterling and Dororthy Mae Hicks Sterling. She had worked in the janitorial department at LaVega High School and Connally High School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going to church.
Glenda was preceded in death by her father Virgil, and brother Clayboy Sterling.

Glenda is survived by husband Monte Stephens; children Jamie Holder and Billy Scott, Shandy Holder, Sherree Holder and Butch Gauer; mother Dorothy Sterling; sisters Marilyn Farris, Dorothy Wright and husband Mike, Lorie Bradburry and husband Leonard; brothers Frank Sterling and wife Beverly, Billy Sterling and wife Tamara, Jerry Sterling and wife Gayla, Brad Sterling, Jason Sterling and wife Erin; grandchildren Shelby, Anthony, Savannah, Tanner, Nicholas, Ja' Lynn, Oniesty, Madison, Samatha; numerous nieces and nephews;dog Bubba Speedy.
