Grace Padgett
Grace L. Padgett, 81, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2009 in a local nursing center.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Howell Farnsworth officiating. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Grace was born September 22, 1927 in Frankfort, Kentucky to Robert Pulliam and Della Gilbert Pulliam. She married J. E. "Jack" Padgett on November 3, 1953. Grace worked for Sears in Waco for over 14 years before retiring in the mid 1970's.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Robbie Hudgens of Waco; grand-daughter, Stephanie Hammond and husband, Mike; great-grand-daughter, Katie Hammond; and several nieces and nephews in Kentucky and Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
