Grace Clark Pullig, 86, formerly of Houston, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007. A private, family service will be held 11 am Saturday at the Elgin Cemetery in Elgin, Texas.
Grace was born to Charles and Hilda "Mimi" (Cesinger) Clark in Houston on December 30, 1920. She married her first love, E.A. "Charlie" Woods, Jr. in 1937. They had two sons, Emmitte Woods and Charlie Woods. She married her second love, Wilson Pullig in 1980. Grace was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge and dominoes, and taking care of her family, including a multitude of cats and most recently an opossum.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents, husbands and sons.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Shirley Jansing and husband Michael of Waco; grandson, Emmitt Woods of Keller; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Scott, and Jake Jansing.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgecrest Retirement Center, the staff in the Heart Failure and Pacemakers Clinics at Providence, Dr. Mark Hinds at Scott and White Fish Pond, and Dr. Rodney Brown at Waco Cardiology Associates for their kindness and care. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends, Waco Montessori School or the organization of your choice.
