Gregory La Mont Arnett, 53, of Waco passed away on January 6, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones.

Services will be 12 Noon, Saturday, January 12, at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel, 4520 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, with Rev. David Wright of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church officiating. A Memorial Video prepared by OakCrest Funeral Home honoring his life will be shown during the service.

Burial will follow in Doris Miller Cemetery. Repass will be at the Texas Life Annex, 1000 West Washington Avenue, in downtown Waco, TX

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 11, at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Greg was born April 9, 1965 in Waco, TX to James and Flora Arnett and raised by Christopher and Flora Estes. He was Educated in Waco Schools and graduated from Richfield High School in 1983. After graduation, Greg worked for Oasis Water Company and then Englander until his recent illness prevented him from working.

He was a caring man that loved to be around his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father James Arnett, Sr, and brother James Ralph Arnett, Jr.

Greg is survived by his mother and father, Flora and Christopher Estes, children, LaKadrian, LaKayla, Gregory, James, Shanita and Javon, his grandmother, Mattie Graves, sisters, Andrea and Christina and 15 grandchildren along with a host of uncles, aunts, sisters, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Allen Taylor, Sammy Veal, Anthony Taylor, Mike Monroe, Geary Estes, Gregory Davis.
