Harold Lowrance, 92, of Waco, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 10 at OakCrest Funeral Home with Daryl LeBlanc and Mark Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Harold was born July 6, 1918 in Wichita Falls to Martin Luther and Mary Ethel Owens Lowrance. He married the love of his life, Aline Stefka July 8, 1939 in Marlin. Harold had lived in the community since 1922 and was a member of the Ridin High Cowboy Church and the Abundant Life Assembly of God. He was an excellent father and grandfather. Harold was loved by anyone he had ever met and was known for his infectious sense of humor. He enjoyed adding laughter and music to the world. Harold will always be remembered for showing his picture of his "Pride and Joy".
He is survived by his sons, Alvin Lowrance and wife, Nancy of Dallas and John Lowrance and wife, Brenda of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his daughter, Linda Diamond of Waco; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scott, Nick and Jonathan Lowrance, Stephen Diamond, Mike Payne and Thomas Miller.
