Harold Smith Faust S.D.T. of Plant City, Florida, passed away January 16, 2008 at Wesley Woods Care Center in Waco, Texas.
Born in 1912, Dr. Faust was called to the Presbyterian ministry in 1930. He was a graduate of Wheaton College, Princeton Theological Seminary, Philadelphia Lutheran Seminary and Temple University receiving his S.T.D.
Dr. Faust had a distinguished ministry with the Presbyterian/USA churches in Pennsylvania and Florida. He served in various positions with the Board of National Missions in California and New York. He and his wife Amy were also pioneers in religious radio and television. Dr. Faust was honored as Pastor Emeritus at Grace Presbyterian Church in Lantana, Florida.
Dr. Faust had many interests and hobbies as a pilot, a master woodcraftsman, and stain glass artist at his Florida and Ogletown, PA studios.
Harold Faust was preceded in death by Amy Deck Faust his beloved wife of 67 years, infant daughter Nancy Lou and his only beloved son Harold David Faust.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving family; daughter Barbara Faust Capron and husband Terry G. Capron, Grandson John David Faust, wife Meg, Granddaughter Susan Alexander, husband Jack, Granddaughter Kimberley Sue Prevatt, husband Monty, Grandson Scott Patrick McAllister, Step Granddaughter Amy Fritsch, husband Steve, Step grandsons Mark Capron, wife Vikki, Jeffery Capron, wife Tina and seventeen great-grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest in Chautauqua, New York beside his beloved wife Amy and son Harold David Faust.
