Helen M. Gonzales, 78, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2008. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home with burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Zula Kelley; and brothers, Kenneth Kelley and John Howell.
Helen leaves her husband of 52 years, Angel Gonzales; her children, Louis Ray Contreras of Tyler, JoAnn Montoya, and Keith Gonzales of Houston; grandchildren, Angela and Amy Montoya, Salena and Galbrieal Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Merriwether, Jordan Byrd, Tremian and Taylor Reed; brother, Marvin Kelley, and close family friend, Virginia Martinez.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Gonzales, Angel Gonzales Jr., Arnold Gonzales, Robert Gonzales Sr., Albert Gonzales, and Tino Gonzales.
