Ida Roosa

Ida E. Roosa, age 90, of Waco, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 17, 2002, at a local hospital.

SERVICES

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Barry Camp officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home.

PERSONAL LIFE

Ida was born February 24, 1912 in Cornwall, NY. to Charles H. and Bertha (Ireland) Weeks. She has lived in Waco for 25 years, and was a homemaker most of her life.

Ida enjoyed reading, watching wildlife, and participating in church activities. She created handmade scripture cards which she gave away generously. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church. HER SURVIVORS

Ida is survived by her son, Bruce Roosa of Lorena, his wife Ruth, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold J. Roosa of Cornwall, NY; and two sisters, Mrs. Lester (Ruth) Jessup of Peekskill, NY and Mrs. Ernest (Bertha) Gray of Cornwall, NY.

Memorials may be sent to Highland Baptist Church Widows Fund.

SPECIAL THANKS

Ida enjoyed the last few years of her life at Quality Care in Waco. Her family appreciates the special care the staff gave to Mom.
