Ignacio Rodriguez

Ignacio Rodriguez, III, age 51, of Houston and formerly of Waco, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Houston.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 14 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Solar officiating. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday, December 13 with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Ignacio was born April 19, 1958 in Waco. He attended Waco area schools and graduated from University High School in 1977. He moved to Houston and worked in floral shops as a designer for many years before becoming a self employed landscaper in Houston.

He will be dearly missed as he was the highlight of his entire family. His smile was contagious and his love for his family and friends was always ever present. Ignacio was loved by family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Ignacio is survived by his partner, Steve Crowson of Houston; his parents, Tommie and Ignacio Rodriguez, Jr. of Waco; brothers, Gabriel Rodriguez and wife, Irene, Richard Rodriguez and Daniel Rodriguez and wife, Patricia all of Waco; sisters, Diana Cervantez and husband, Arthur, Mary Guardiola and husband, John and Tina Rodriguez and friend, Daniel Munoz all of Waco; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
