Inez Case Gasser, 89, of Waco, Texas, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Eastman Funeral Home in New London, Ohio, with burial in Ashland Cemetery.
The visitation for Waco friends will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2013 at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, Texas, 254-772-5272.
The visitation for family and friends in Ohio will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London, Ohio, 419-929-1902.
Born March 13, 1923 to Azzie and Nora (Stumbo) Hall in Honaker, KY, she married Okie Case in 1938. They had two daughters and moved to Ohio, where she lived in the New London area until she retired to Venice, Florida. After many years, she relocated to Texas to be nearer to her children. She was a member of the Speegleville Baptist Church.
Inez was married to Okie Case on July 16, 1938 until his death in 1971. She was married to Gerald Gasser from 1975 until his death in 1992.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Okie Case, husband Gerald Gasser, daughter Yvonne Case Dearth, grandson Ty Smith, brothers Clyde Hall and Richard (RJ) Hall, twin sister Ivallea Risner, sisters Loretta Hardy and Irene Brown, and son-in-law Dan Cole.
She is survived by her daughter Ernestine Cole, Waco, TX, Grandchildren Bernie (Cindy) Yoder, Milan, OH., Debra (Alex) Robert, Payson, UT., Beth (Dan) Norman, Portland, OR., Jenneida (Frank) Kriews, Norwalk, OH., Annette (Robert) Pullin, Roosevelt, UT., Amber Yoder, Norwalk, OH., Keith (Rhonda) Campbell, Waco, TX., Gordon (Stephanie) Campbell, Waco, TX., Danny (Carolyn) Cole, Marshall, TX., Jeffrey Cole, Waco, TX., sisters Melva Anderson and Magalene Hall, New London, OH., and Betty Petitt, Elyria, OH.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons Bernie, Keith, Gordon, Jeffrey, Danny and grandson-in-law, Frank. Her great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
