Iris O'Dale Jones, 80 of Waco passed away on Monday June 29, 2009 at her residence. Graveside services will be 10am Friday at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 State Highway 195 in Killeen, Texas with Brother Greg Brumit officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm Thursday, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
She was born on September 12, 1928 in Corsicana to Shep and Hallie (Baleau) Baggett. She married the love of her life, Jerrell on January 12, 1948 in Waco, Texas.
Iris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerrell on February 26, 2009 and by her parents, brothers and sister.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Jones of Waco and Gary Jones and wife, Janice of Waco; daughters, Bridgett Voss and husband, Billy of Lorena and Martha McClain of Washington State; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
