Irma Lee Edmundson, 87, of Waco, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad St. Romain officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning prior to the service.
Irma Lee was born August 4, 1922 in Shamrock to John Charles Rabo and Jewel Estes Rabo. She worked for Imperial Church Furniture Company in Waco for many years before she began working for Baylor University where she supervised student rental property. Irma Lee loved to travel and enjoyed many cruises during her life. She enjoyed dancing at Ridgewood Country Club whenever Big Band music was played. Irma Lee was active with Meals on Wheels and a faithful and long time member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Irma Lee was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, W.T. Buchanan; and her second husband, Jim Edmundson.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Buchanan Miller and husband, Jim of Livingston; grandsons, Brant Miller and wife, Jill and Todd Miller and wife, Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Josh Miller, Cody Miller, Brannon Miller, Cameron Delahouysae, Kylie Miller and Kelan Miller; numerous nieces, nephews; and many close and dear friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in memory of Irma Lee Edmundson.
