Isaac Ruiz

Isaac Lee Ruiz, 16, of Cuero and formerly of Waco, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at OakCrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday with rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Isaac was born September 4, 1994 in Cuero to Paul Henry Ruiz, Sr and Erica Marie Romero Ruiz. He had just completed his freshman year of high school in Cuero. Isaac loved to dance and sing and was always the one who made others laugh. He will forever be the light of the Ruiz family.

He is survived by his father, Paul H. Ruiz; his mother, Erica Romero Ruiz; sister, Jerica Ruiz and Lindsey; brothers, Paul Ruiz, Jr and Christopher Ruiz; his grandparents, Juan and Mary Ruiz and Irene Romero; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Paul Ruiz, Jr, Christopher Robertson, Joseph Guajardo, Javier Munoz, Marcus Perez and Oscar Gonzales. Honorary pallbearer will be Joe Juarez.
