Isabel "Belo" Navejas

Isabel “Belo” Navejas, 77, passed away on Friday, January 14th, 2022.

Belo was born on July 10th, 1944 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Maria V and Trinidad Navejas, He was a migrant farm worker, as well as carpenter (more so a jack of all trades). He could build a house, tool shed, and just about anything he put his mind to. He married Maria A. Sanchez October 10th, 1962 at La Villa De Fuente, Coahuila.

Belo was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister Eliza Robles.

Belo is survived by his wife Maria Navejas, sons Ernesto Navejas and wife Debra, Hector Navejas and wife Rosemary, Guillermo (Willy) Navejas and wife Patricia, Abel Navejas, Angel Navejas and wife Cynthia, Gilberto Navejas; daughters Patricia Navejas, Roseanna Sanchez and husband Roman, Esmeralda Navejas, Minerva Soza and husband Rudy; brothers, Alfredo Navejas, Felix Navejas, Eduardo Navejas Sr, Trinidad Navejas Jr, Guadalupe Navejas and sister Sarilu Trejo. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 26, 2022 from 10-11 am at OakCrest Funeral Home. Service to immediately follow at 11 am at OakCrest Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Steve Estrada. Belo will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery following the service.

Pallbearers are Trinidad Navejas Jr, Guadalupe Navejas, Alfredo Navejas, Felix Navejas, Eduardo Navejas Sr, and Ernesto Navejas. Hector Navejas, Ramiro Alvarez, Noe Garcia III, Angel Garcia, Fabian Garcia and Efren Garcia will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
