J. Florencio Castillo "Lencho" falleció el 17 de octubre de 2024 en Waco, TX, rodeado de su familia.

Florencio nació el 14 de marzo de 1956 en Rayón Tierras Coloradas San Luis Potosí, México, hijo de Paulina Guerrero Silva y Gelacio Castillo Ríos.

Siendo el hijo mayor, emigró a Waco, TX cuando solo tenía 15 años en busca del sueño americano, donde ayudó a innumerables familiares y amigos a establecerse. Siendo también donde conoció a su amada esposa, Juanita Castillo en 1978.

Florencio fue un gran esposo, figura paterna, hijo, hermano, tío y amigo.

"Lencho" fue un hombre fuerte, alegre y trabajador que centró su vida en el trabajo, la familia y el inmenso amor por los caballos.

“Lencho” era muy conocido por sus fiestas Coleaderos donde conocía a innumerables grandes amigos. Será recordado por su risa única y su sentido del humor.

A Florencio le sobreviven su esposa, Juanita Castillo; hijos, Erven Sánchez y Andy Sánchez y esposa, Rose Sánchez y sus hijos, Sandra Martínez, Abigail Sánchez, Tito de Jesús, Andy Sánchez, Jr., Alex Sánchez, Adrián Sánchez, Corey Sánchez y Alaina Sánchez; hermanos, San Juan Castillo y esposa, Amelia Hndz, Matías Castillo y Hugo Castillo; hermanas, Rosario Castillo, María Castillo, Gloria Castillo y Alma Castillo y esposo, Raymundo Villeda; cuñadas, Mary Helen, Yolanda Rodriguez y Dora Lozoria y su hijo, Richard Davila y su esposa Cynthia Davila; junto con innumerables primos, sobrinas y sobrinos.

J. Florencio Castillo "Lencho" passed away on October 17, 2024 in Waco TX, surrounded by his family.

Florencio was born on March 14, 1956 in Rayon Tierras Coloradas San Luis Potosí, Mexico, to Paulina Guerrero Silva and Gelacio Castillo Ríos.

Being the eldest son, he immigrated to Waco, TX when he was only 15 years old in search of the American dream where he helped countless family and friends settle at. Also being where he met his beloved wife, Juanita Castillo in 1978.

Florencio was a great husband, father figure, son, brother, uncle and friend.

"Lencho" was a strong, happy and hard-working man who centered his life on work, family and the immense love for horses.

“Lencho" was well known for his Coleaderos parties where he met countless great friends. He will be remembered for his unique laugh and sense of humor.

Florencio is survived by his wife, Juanita Castillo; sons, Erven Sanchez and Andy Sanchez and wife, Rose Sanchez and their kids, Sandra Martinez, Abigail Sanchez, Tito de Jesus, Andy Sanchez, Jr., Alex Sanchez, Adrian Sanchez, Corey Sanchez, and Alaina Sanchez; brothers, San Juan Castillo and wife, Amelia Hndz, Matias Castillo, and Hugo Castillo; sisters, Rosario Castillo, Maria Castillo, Gloria Castillo, and Alma Castillo and husband, Raymundo Villeda; sisters-in-law, Mary Helen, Yolanda Rodriguez, and Dora Lozoria and her son, Richard Davila and Wife Cynthia Davila; along with countless cousins, nieces and nephews.
