Jack "Reggie" Meier passed away at The Woodlands Memorial Herman Hospital on March 25, 2013. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Bosqueville Cemetery with Jim Daniels, Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Robinson, officiating.
Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 1, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.
Reggie was born in Waco on March 23, 1944. He left Waco in the early 1970's where he took up residence in Magnolia, Texas until his death. Reggie was a professional photographer for United Church Directory for many years. He worked at Campbell Ready Mix until his retirement in 2006. He had a passion for "fast cars." He loved Nascar, NHNRA drag racing, as well as owning several "hot rods" of his own.
Preceding Reggie in death were his parents Ervin and Faye Meier.
He is survived by his son, Lee M. Burgar and wife Lora of Center Point, Texas and grandchildren Rachel Harrison of Brenham, Texas, Nick Harrison of Temple, Texas and great grandchildren Ayden Harrison of California, and Ellena Harrison of Temple, Texas; Daughters Tiffany and husband Matt Basilone and grandchildren, Chloe, Madison and Chance of Ohio., Niki and husband Phil Lilly and grandchildren Gunnar, Shelbey, and Gracie of Ohio;daughters, Cheryl and husband Donny Jordan and daughter Chelsey Munoz of Magnolia, Texas, Carlene and husband Garry Butcher and children Corey, Dustin, and Kaysey of Magnolia, Texas, Becky and husband Rodney Gayle and son Mark of Magnolia, Texas; Cousins, Rayburn and wife Carolyn Taylor, Larry Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, Cindy and husband Mike Barr, and Ronnie Posey all of Waco; and his most "PRECIOUS GEMS" of his life were his beloved dogs, Smokey, Elvis and Taco.
