Jack Clifton Oxner, 90, of Waco, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2013 at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with his family will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Jack was born on August 3, 1922 in Timpson, TX to Marvin and Finnie Ramsey Oxner.
He married Billie Moon on February 27, 1948 in Houston. He worked as a salesman
for numerous car dealers in the Waco area. He was also a member of the local VFW.
His hobbies included most anything outdoors, his favorite being fishing and hunting
and working in his yard.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; son, Andy; and brothers, Elburn, William,
Harmon and Marvin Oxner.
He is survived by his wife, Billie, of Waco; two sons, Greg Oxner of China Spring, Rex Oxner,
and wife, Karen of Little Rock, AR; brother, Robert Oxner and wife, Kathy, of Oceanside, CA;
sister, Alta F. Tanner of Waco; and grandson, Colton Oxner of China Spring.
