Jake Wesley Hackworth Jr., 71 of Waco, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 6, at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Mott Cemetery.
The reception will follow at New Zion Church in Elm Mott.
Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday, August 5, at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Jake is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Laura Faye, of 30 years; his brother, Freddie Hackworth and his living wife Vicki, and his sister Betty Eddings.
Jake is survived by two sisters and two brothers, Annie Nevels of Waco, Melvin Hackworth and his wife Katherine of Lacy Lakeview, Johnnie Hicks of Waco, and Donald Hackworth of Aurora Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by five children:, Yolanda G. Johnson of Bellmead, Freda L. Hackworth of Lacy Lakeview, Barbara A. Williams of Euless, Jake W. Hackworth III of Waco, Harold R. Hackworth and his wife Pamela of Ft Worth and daughter-in-law, Annette Hackworth of Waco; 14 grandchildren; Anitra, Michael, Robert, Randy, Reva, Tasia, Aaron, Shaunte, Tiffany, Jake, Dante, Eric, Tyrel, Gabriel, and Dillon, and a host of nieces and nephews.
