James Dewey Eddins II, 22, of Eddy, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 10, 2013. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at Oakcrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 15, at Oakwood Cemetery.
James was born on August 27, 1990, to James Dewey Eddins Sr. and Sheri Ellenwood. He was so young and had yet to begin his life. His heart was full of love for his mother and his fiance'; and his many other family members. James loved his music and spent his spare time learning to Mix his own music. He was loved by many family and friends and will not be forgotten. Our peace of heart is that he will be joining the Lord and his other loved ones in heaven.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Bonnie Walker; grandmothers, Ellen "Poppy" Ridlehuber and Teloiv "T" Eddins; uncles, Terry and Perry Walker; his father, James Dewey Eddins Sr.; grandfather, Phillip C. Eddins; uncle Phillip 'Spanky' Eddins I; cousin, Phillip "Trey" Eddins III; great-grandmother, Mary Ridlehuber; great-grandfather, John "J.D." Ridlehuber.
He is survived by his mother, Sheri Eddins; grandfather, Bob Ridlehuber; grandmother, Debbie Dishsinger; brother, Christopher Eddins; fiance', Leah Apperson; aunt and uncle, Tim and Phylis McFall; aunts, Kimberley Eddins and Kathy Rizzo; numerous first and second cousins who will miss him 'hanging out' with them.
Because of James love for family and friends, we would like to recognize his extended, honorary family. Cody Kerns, brother of his heart; Garret Shockey and Alex Fleishhauser, friends and brothers in life. And when he needed solace and advise G-Ma Robbie McMahan and G-Pa Robert McMahan, and his honorary aunt, Dana Ceja.
Pallbearers will be Chance Eddins, Christopher Eddins, Beau Moss, Cody Kerns, Garret Shockey, and Sterling Richie.
