James Rodney Hill, 56 of Alvin passed away on Tuesday January 11, 2005 in Lake Charles, LA. Services are 2pm Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Rodney was born on June 18, 1948 in Waco to Belvin Eugene and Ila Gerldine (Moore) Hill. He grew up in Bellmeand and graduated from Lorena High School.
He is survived by his daughters, Wendy Mills and husband Kenneth of Waco, Kristi Abel and husband John of Hewitt; son, Brad Hill and wife Jackie of China Spring; grandchildren, Cody, Connally and Collin Mills, Jakob, Evan and Ryne Able; brother, Albert Hill and wife Betty of Bay Town; sisters, Ila Bates of Waco and Brenda Willingham of Salado; special friend, Liz Hernandez and her son Anthony of Alvin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rodney was a loving father and friend.
