James L. Jones, 80 of Waco passed away on Friday, February 10, 2006 at a local care center. Graveside services will be 2 pm Wednesday February 22, 2006 at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
James was born on May 25, 1925 in Willspoint, Texas to W.M. Reese and Pearl Jones. He married the love of his life, Tina Coley and spent sixty one wonderful years together. He was in the U.S. Army serving during WWII. He had also worked for the Katy Rail Road and Post Office. James was a hard worker, his family ment the world to him.
He is survived by his wife Tina of Waco; sons, Ray Jones of Bellmead, Steve Jones of Beaumont ,David Jones of Waco and Aarron Jones of Waco; grandchildren, James David Jones, Jennifer Jones, Tiffany Jones and many others.
