James or "Jim" as his friends knew him, was born in Winchester, Kentucky to Rhoda and Pleas Bush McIntosh. He was one of ten children and is survived by a brother, Howard McIntosh. Jim spent most of his life as the owner of the Parkway Cafe in Cincinnati, Ohio. Once retired he moved to Hewitt, Texas in 2000 to be closer to family then to Willis, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Nancy (Baker) McIntosh; oldest son, James Paul McIntosh and wife Sandy from Las Vegas, Nevada; youngest son, David Wayne McIntosh and wife Marilee of Montgomery, Texas; daughter, Joyce McIntosh Figgins and her husband, Charles of Lorena, Texas; three grandsons, James Chadwick McIntosh, Talton James Figgins, and Jordan Williams; two grand-daughters, Russtel Rea (Figgins) Marmon and her husband Stephen Marmon, and Whitney Torres and her husband Amado from Waco; and two great-grandchildren, twins, Russell and Raelene Marmon.
Like the lyrics of the old song "My Way" he did it his way. Rest in peace and free from pain. Thanks for being the best father that you knew how to be and for the good memories at the Parkway Cafe.
