James Edward Tipshus, 47, of Waco, Texas passed away on Friday March 6, 2020 at his residence. Graveside services with Navel Honors will be Tuesday March 17, 2020 at St. Martin’s Cemetery, Tours, Texas, with Deacon James Poole officiating. A visitation and Rosary service was held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at OakCrest Funeral Home.
James was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on September 21, 1972, to Dr. Alfons Fabian and Dorothy Helen (Dulock) Tipshus. He graduated in 1992 from Midway High School. James served in the U. S. Navy. He enjoyed being with his family and proud to serve his country.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his brother, Micheal Tipshus; and uncle Fred Dulock and wife Ginny of Waco, Texas.
