James Clifton Young,75, of Woodway, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015. Graveside services will be 2 pm Wed, Jan 28, 2015 at Waco Memorial Park with Chaplain Danny Tomlinson officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home.
James was born in Gonzalez, Texas. He married Beverly Luft in Nov 23, 1966 in Waco, he was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. James worked many years as a claims adjuster for Kizer Claims.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Estelle Young; sisters Jo Ann Law, Vera Nell Linn; and granddaughter Elizabeth Arney.
James is survived by his wife Beverly; daughters Dee Wyrick, Laurie Smith and husband Duncan, Michelle Arney and husband Doug; sisters Judy Bowden, Dorothy Young, Mary Oswald; grandchildren David Kirkpatrick and wife Brandi,James Kirkpatrick Candy Edinburgh, Felicia Hollins, Austin Arney, Cory Arney; great grandchildren ,Tyler, Colten, Gavin, Genevieve, Jackson, Cameron, Skylar, and Bryson.
