Jean Mitchell
Jean K. Mitchell of Waco passed away Sunday, June 6, 2004 in a Fort Worth Hospital. Private graveside services were held at 10:30a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. John Wells officiating. Burial was by OakCrest Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mitchell was born in Kingston, Surrey, England on June 28, 1935. In 1953, she met and married Pat Mitchell. She accompanied her husband to the United States and subsequently accompanied him to tours of duty to Japan and England. She owned and operated Parklake Beauty Salon for approximately fifteen years until her retirement in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Fred and Ethel Leadbeater.
She leaves her husband, Pat Mitchell of Waco; three children, Glenn Mitchell of Waco, Matina Zimmerman and husband Kevin of Sedalia, Mo., and Patricia Chatfield of Waco; and five grandchildren.
