Jean, the second daughter of Ardell Stiles and Viola Adams Stiles was born in Lampasas, Texas, Oct. 16, 1942. She graduated from Copperas Cove High School and at an early age moved to the West Texas area. Jean loved her family and friends. Before her retirement and returning to the Waco/Hewitt area, she worked for Gould's Pumps, Wal-Mart and was Human Resources Director for Managed Care Center. A woman always on the go, she loved to cook, read, and work with the beautiful flowers in her yard.

Preceding her in death were her mother and father; grandparents; and her sister, Sandra Owens.

Jean is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Bill Owens; her daughters, McKenzie Prince and her husband, Jeff, of San Antonio, Laurie Atkins Gunn of Denison; a son, Larry Adams of Twentynine Palms, Calif.; also a special daughter-in-law, Laura Adams of Levelland. She was blessed with six loving grandchildren, Kim Sellers, Joe, Daniel, and Sarah Adams, Tommy and China Gunn; and three great-grandchildren, including on the way, little Audrey Jean; her brother, Dale Stiles of Arkansas; her sisters, Linda Woods of Copperas Cove, and LaDell Walker and husband, David, of Lampasas; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lee Skidmore and Catherine Owens, both of Hewitt; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Also left to cherish her memory are four very special people in her life, Joyce Posey, Nancy Ross, Kay Young, and Crystal Bryant; and a very, very, special pet, "Lilly".

A very special thank you goes out to all family and friends for their love and support of Jean and Bill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church, Fuzzy Friends, or the Humane Society.
