Jeannine Ward Nixon, 84, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013. A private family service will be held later.
Jeannine was born December 10, 1928 in Dallas to Jefferson and Irene (Byrns) Ward. After moving to Waco in 1929, she worked for First Federal Savings for 36 years, retiring as Assistant Vice President.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, James W. Nixon.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Mercer of China Spring; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and twin great-great-grandchildren on the way.
