Jeffrey Andrew Hawkins

Jeffrey Andrew Hawkins, 44, of Waco, passed away Monday, September 17, 2007, in a Waco hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. R. Duane Hoxsworth, Sr. and Rev. Tony Stang officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque. A memorial video honoring his life will be shown during the visitation times.
Jeffrey was born in Waco on November 1, 1962 to Robert and Evelyn (Fowlkes) Hawkins. He attended Waco schools and graduated from Waco High School and McLennan Community College.
He was employed by Ferguson Enterprises in McGregor. He was previously employed by HealthSouth as Chief Technologist and Marketing Representative. Prior to that he was an x-ray technician at Scott & White, Hillcrest and Providence hospitals.
He was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, and organized and participated in several fund raising activities for the American Cancer Society.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Fowlkes Hawkins; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Fowlkes and Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Hawkins, and uncles, J.B. Hawkins Jr. and Boyd Hawkins.
He is survived by his father, Robert Hawkins and wife, Ladean of Bellmead; beloved sister, Debra Miller and husband, David of Waco; niece, Christine Miller; nephew, Robert David Miller; grand niece, Andrea Pena; grand nephews, Atticus and Zatcheus Miller; brothers, James Michael Hawkins and wife, Barbara of Ivyland, Pa., Robert Dedeluk and wife, Sandy and Charles Wallace and wife, Syliva, all of Waco; aunt, Barbara Woodruff and husband, J.E. of Chalk Bluff; uncles, Benny Hawkins of Austin and Dr. Brian Hawkins and wife, Linda of Houston; and great uncles, Paul McCauley of Waco and Clifton McCauley of San Antonio, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Hawkins, Robby Hawkins, Christopher Hawkins, David Miller, Isadore Lopez, and Scott Hawkins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert David Miller, Christine Miller, Charles Wallace Jr., John Michael Wallace, Daniel Dedeluk, Mollie Hawkins, Sabrina Hawkins, Katharine Shaw, Shawn Constancio, Dr. Bradley Hawkins and J.E. Woodruff.
The family expresses their deepest appreciation to East Texas E.M.S., Providence Emergency Room, and Providence Cardiac Intensive Care.
