Jeffrey Ryan Messec
November 4, 1977 – July 3, 2013
Jeffrey Ryan Messec, 35, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013. A private service will be held.
Jeffrey attended Vanguard High School and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Texas A&M University where he made many lifelong friends. After graduation from Texas A&M, Jeffrey was employed by a major corporation in their call center where he steadily worked his way up to the position of Operations Director.
After Jeffrey was diagnosed with MS in his early twenties, he struggled with MS for the remainder of his life.
His family and friends will miss him dearly.
Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Melba Faye Messec, and his maternal grandparents, Ed and Kathleen Bolfing.
Jeff was survived by his father, Jim Messec and wife Linda from Maumelle Arkansas, and mother, Kay Cooper from Waco, Texas. Jeffery is also survived by his grandfather, James A. Messec of Robinson; two stepbrothers, Chuck Vereen of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Chris Vereen of Hot Springs, Arkansas and his wife, Angela; and a niece and three nephews. Jeffrey had a large extended family that included many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His father wants to thank everyone for their assistance during this difficult time.
