Jeffrey Lee Thaemert
February 5, 1964 – June 12, 2015

Jeffrey Lee “Jeff” Thaemert, 51, of Waco, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, June 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, June 19 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, 1207 N. Old Robinson Rd., Robinson, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 18 from 6 to 8 pm at Oakcrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard, Waco.

Jeff was born February 5, 1964 in Waconia, Minnesota to Allan Harvey and Laura Arlene (Brown) Thaemert. He was a longtime electrician with IBEW Local 72 and a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Jeff was a caring man, always willing to help and was always the first to volunteer his services to those in need. He loved his wife, children and family dearly. He was devoted to his church and to his Lord. There will be a void in the lives of all that knew Jeff.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Mara Thaemert; children, Ingrid Chavez, Samantha Thaemert, Christopher Thaemert, and Isabella Thaemert; father, Allen Thaemert; mother, Laura Brown; sisters, Dawn Grams and family and Cheryl Lee and family; brothers, Kevin Thaemert and family and Steve Thaemert and family; mother-in-law, Carmen Chavez; brothers-in-law, Marcos Chavez and Roberto Chavez and Gustavo Chavez; sisters-in-law, Bertha Munoz, Carmen Barron and Esperanza Chavez; and his brothers and sisters by choice, John Gonzales, Jr., Julia Veracruz, Carolina Olvera, Catherine Cavazos, George Gonzales, Virginia Garcia, Martha Garcia and Evalisa Lopez.

Pallbearers will be Steve Thaemert, Kevin Thaemert, Roberto Chavez, John Gonzales Jr., George Gonzales Sr., Exzavier Tobon, Jr. Hidaigo, and Emmanuel Chavez.
