Jesse Fraga, Sr.
August 6, 1948 to June 22, 2007

Jesse Fraga, Sr., 58, passed away at his residence Friday evening in Sarasota, Fla. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Funeral Mass will be by Father Lawrence Soler at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Jesse was born August 6, 1948 in Marlin. He was an entrepreneur as an upholsterer with 41 years experience. He owned and operated Jesses' Upholstery in Waco. He was a member of the Roselle Lion's Club in Illinois.

Jesse was a loving father and grandfather; a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan; a fan of Oldies music; a Golden Gloves boxer with the Waco Boys Club, and a bowler in Waco leagues.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Rosenda and Vincent Martinez Jr.; and siblings, Dora Calderon and Manuel Martinez.

He is survived by daughters, Jillian Fraga of Chicago, Rose Marie Munoz and husband, Gabriel of Austin; sons, Jesse Fraga, Jr and wife, Angelica, James Fraga and wife, Gloria, all of Chicago; brothers, Gilbert Fraga, Ernesto Fraga, Vincent Martinez III; sister, Linda Ramos; grandchildren: Hope, Faith, Gabriella, Tiffany and Gabriel Munoz and Jessica and Isabella Fraga, and five great grandchildren.
