Jesse Palacios Gomez, 61, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Hillcrest Medical Center. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church.

Prayer service will be 7 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Jesse was born in Prarie Hill to Pete and Susie Gomez. He was a foreman at Gross-Yowell Lumber for 36 years.

Jesse was preceded in death by parents; brother, Pete Gomez Jr.; and sisters, Faye Perez and Lupe Marie Gomez.

He is survived by wife of 44 years, Gloria; two daughters, Lorraine Rodriquez and husband, Rudy, and Jessica Seniceros and husband, Sotero III; one son, Eddie Gomez and wife, Sylvia; two brothers, Willie and Paul; four sisters, Lucy Gayton, Frances Wiggins, Ann Cervantez, and Tina Perez; and 11 grandchildren.
