Faye Johnson, age 85, of Waco, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Waco. Visitation in Waco will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at OakCrest Funeral Home. A visitation with her family in Clinton, Arkansas will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton with a funeral service following at 2 p.m. in the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hardin Cemetery in Clinton.
Faye was born August 10, 1925 in Clinton to Jess Smith and Maggie Hargis Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Winford Johnson.
Faye is survived by her two daughters, Sherry Cragen and husband, Bob of Waco and Mary Ann Thurman of St. Genevieve, Missouri; three grandchildren, Sean Thurman, Kelly Cragen Preddy and Andi Cragen; three great grandchildren, Morgan, Jackson and Sadie Thurman; and her sister, Jo Taylor of West, Texas.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Wesley Woods for the love and care they gave to Faye over the years.
