Jessie Wilson

Jessie Marie Parks Wilson, 86, of Waco, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at OakCrest Funeral Home with burial at Waco Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.

Jessie was born September 10, 1928 in Waco to Jonas (J.P.) and Rosa (Garner) Parks. She served as Business Office Manager of Hillcrest Baptist Hospital for over 20 years. She was a longtime member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, and watching her favorite TV shows. Jessie also served as a Meals on Wheels volunteer for many years, and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Fred Storm Jr.

She is survived by sons, Ed Wilson Jr. and wife Sheryl of Hewitt and Ricky Wayne Wilson of Eddy; daughters, Diane Storm of Valley Mills, Linda Watkins and husband Jeff of Marlin, and Patty Bivins and husband, Nelson of Richardson; grandchildren, Stephanie Ann Wilson, Stephanie Morris and husband Zack, Eric Taylor Wilson, Katherine Cameron, Laurie Taylor, Brandon Storm and wife Stephanie, Jenny Feghali and husband George, Brad Watkins and wife Janna, Lisa Watkins, Scott Watkins and wife Courtney, Michelle Bivins and finance Andy Hunt, Jessica Bivins, and Haley Bivins; 14 great-grandchildren, and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Brad Watkins, Brandon Storm, Eric Wilson, George Feghali, Michael Harris, and Scott Watkins.

The family appreciates the special care given by the staff of Baylor Scott & White Hospital.
