Jewell Dominik

Jewell, “Shang”, Dominik, age 95, went to heaven on Sunday, December 18, 2017. She was the third child of Louis A. Wendeborn and Edna Mae (Tow) Wendeborn. Born on February 20, 1922, Shang grew up in Turnersville and lived many years in Gatesville before moving to Woodway. She was married to Johnnie Dominik and they had one son, Eddie Paul.

Shang was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son; a brother, Clinton Wendeborn; and two sisters, Myrtle Winfield and Edna Smith.

Left to cherish her memory and to celebrate her colorful life are two dear sisters, Louise Blunschi and Wanda Manning; her daughter-in-law, Pam Mann Dominik; and several very special nieces and nephews.

Any donations may be made to the Midway Education Foundation or the Waco ABC animal clinic.

There will be a family service on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1 pm at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
