Joann Moore

Nilda Joann Moore, “Jodie”, 76, of Waco, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 8th at 10 a.m. at Brazos Meadows Baptist Church with Brother Billy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.

Joann was born July 25, 1940 in Hillsboro, Texas to John Frank, Sr. and Alice Robertson. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, a retiree of M & M Mars, and was an active member of Brazos Meadows Baptist Church.

Joann was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Moore; parents, John and Alice Robertson; brother, John Frank Robertson; and sisters, Mary Frances Robertson and Catherine Jennings.

Survivors include her brother, James Harold Robertson and wife, Debbie of Abbott; her four children, Tony Moore and wife, Margie of Robinson, Chris Moore of Hewitt, Lisa Tucker and husband, Stephen of Clifton, and Karen Davila and husband, Dennis of Aquilla. Joann was also blessed with 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Scott & White Hospice as well as At Your Place Living Assistance for providing such excellent care of Joann during such a difficult time.
